After a change of plans, had to cancel the reservation through eDreams. Requested a refund. The refund process took some time, but the result is important. In the end, the money was refunded. I’ve been through something similar with eDreams. In my case, the refund also took a while — around 3 weeks but eventually the full amount came back. A friend of mine, though, only got part of their money refunded, so I think it really depends on the airline and eDreams’ own policies.
One tip: always keep screenshots of your booking and emails, it helps a lot if you need to escalate. Also, when I budget for trips, I always factor in possible losses like this. Using a quick KDV hesaplama tool helps me stay on top of the numbers and not get caught off guard.
